As I Age – Situations, Perception

Ageing is a scary thing
When you used to run, you walk
When you used to stride in high heels, you stroll in sneakers
When you used to party till dawn, you struggle to wake/sleep at dawn
When forever is about until the end of life, you learnt that forever is only until the end of your belief/state/phase

But ageing is an amazing thing
When the world used to be black or white, right or wrong, yes or no, clever or stupid, truth or lie
The world is now a spectrum of greys, a spectrum of grey area,
a concoction of maybe yes or maybe no or yes and no
Clever or stupid takes on new definition or is isolated to situational
Lying can be not entirely bad and being truthful may not always be good

You stop viewing the world at the moment
But in different dimensions, different horizons, and different possibilities

I for one is not one who is too keen on services freebies, especially the kind that will continue billing you after the free period is over
